As we’re midway through our fourth month in quarantine, things haven’t progressed as much as most of us would like. Life as we knew it is still on pause – or pivot at best. However, here’s your reminder that there are still happy events happening in the world.

Some Good News by John Krasinski has been one of our top references to bring cheer through the fear and anxiety many are dealing with. Afterward, the building will be configured for affordable housing.

Gregg Garfield, 54, contracted the coronavirus on an annual ski trip in Italy. Upon returning to North America, he was admitted to a California hospital with a 1% survival rate after his kidneys started failing and his blood pressure dropped. But with the help of healthcare workers and surely some serious resilience, he was release after 64 days. Upon exiting, one of his doctors told him: “You’re a miracle. Medically, you should not be here.” Inspiration to keep hope alive, no matter how slim the chances may be.
